Is there any backup software that will work under os 9? I'd like to have the backups take place in the middle of the night, when presumably all users would be logged out. (I'm backing up to a windows network using DAVE, if that makes a difference)

I believe there is no better backup utility then "Retrospect" for the Macintosh platform. They currently have an upgrade that is OS 9 compatible. You'll find it at their "Dantz" website. Let me know what you think should you decide to purchase their full program or "Retrospect Express" which works very well for most users at a third of the price.

Good luck.
