Hi,
I'm trying to get my mac server up and running with samba so I can work on things from a linux box.
So far I can mount shares and read files. I can edit them in gedit but when I save the file it changes the permissions. sets it to -rwx------ every time. should be -rwxr--r--
I think this is a samba issue not a gedit issue but who knows.
now the mount point (folder) is set to drwxrwxrwx but when I actually mount the share it changes to drwx------
the user on the mac and the linux box have the same name and uid
Any ideas?
