iMovie error message

	I've been using iMovie on my laptop before however today, on startup it is displaying an message that says iMove requires a video card that supports Quartz Extreme, which the one in my MBP obviously does. Any ideas what to do. Just reinstalled iLife 09 suite and getting the same message. Card identifies as a ATY,RadeonX1600 using system profiler.
