Each time I reboot the system, I get at the end of the process the following note:

*Software needed for the USB device " Apple Extended USB keyboard" is not available. Would you like to look for the software on the Internet?*

After contacting the intenet by the SoftwareUpdate CP, I get the following note after sometime:

*Software for this device has not been found.
Please contact the manufacturer for the latest version of the needed software.*

It is strange!

I could be wrong, but I believe that keyboards/mice are covered in the Input Sprokets extension. Make sure they are installed (Extension Manager) or download the latest version from Apple's web site.
