Hello,
I have now iMac 500 which comes with DiskBurner and OS 9.1.
I would like to create a backup CD to the OS CD.
I have tried it by creating a disk image with DiskCopy when I dragged
the content of my OS CD on its icon, and afterwards burn the CD. But, I
have tried to boot my computer with C clicked, and it didn't work. so, I
assume, I have done it not in the correct way.
I will appreciate any step to step guide to enable me to succeed.

Make sure, when burning the CD, you select the "Bootable" option. (I use Toast - I imagine your software has the same options.)

I don't use DiscBurner, so I'm not sure, but I don't think that DiscBurner has the "Bootable" option... I would recommend Toast 5 Titanium to burn a backup CD. Just use the "Copy" function and select the appropriate CD-ROM drive...
