I'd have to go with one of the 3....

Sanctified
Wish
Down In It

Tough to pick just one.

Would really be hard to pick. But since there aren't any breaks in Broken, I'll just take the whole album.

I got to thinking and I think that maybe a Warm Place is my favorite.

Odd choice, I know. But that song relaxes me in amongst the chaos of the Downward spiral.

Almost a metaphor for life.

I had an entire golf mix at one time - where the songs tangentially had something to do with golf. "Terrible Lie" was one of them.

Shows how good of a golfer I am. LOL

Head like a hole...

I used to date a girl who would get turned on by NIN's music... I used to play it a lot whenever she was over.

Down In It - always thought the way he became more and more unhinged as the song progressed was very cool
Closer (Precursor) - the mix that was used for the opening credits of the film Se7en

Trents not all THAT much the talent that the fanboys think he is, even so, Johhny Cash doing 'Hurt' is one of the most phenomenal covers ever. Goose bumps every time, especially the video.

Worst cover ever.

Yes, worse than The Offspring doing Total Immortal (and that was BAD).

Beside You In Time?
Right Where It Belongs?

Both tracks are better than most of the crap on Pretty Hate Machine.

Only is a great track as well. Especially the Garage Band version of it that he released. I've made a few mixes of my own.

And to address the OP's question: Hurt.
