No, this isn't a spammer honeypot... I actually want to know. I've had an ipad for a while but this iphone is new and shiny and has very few apps on it.

What are your top apps?

Top games?

Which QR code reader do you like best?

As I've said before, I'm an app lightweight, but here are a few (free) gimmes.

Remote: Controls your iTunes collection from your phone.

Glympse: Painlessly sets up a web page with a real-time update of your location. You then text or email the link to whomever you want.

SoundHound or Shazam: If you hear a song and want to know what it is, the app listens and then tells you. You can sing to SoundHound too. Might as well get both.

Apple - iTunes - Remote

App Store - Glympse - Free location share application

App Store - SoundHound

App Store - Shazam

Apple's new Podcasts app lets you update podcasts directly on the phone without syncing.

Games are probably the same as on the iPad. Personally I play Bejeweled more than I care to admit. Also lots of games where you play with your friends - I've been playing Rumble lately.

Relax Melodies to play white noise or other background sounds in the earphones.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

These are the ones I like the most. Games aren't shooters and the likes, most are very creative and being a designer you're going to like those games. Same goes for certain apps, weather, calendar, poetry…

Have you tried "Casts"? It has been updating podcasts directly on the iPhone for a long time, and is way better than Apple's app.

I don't put many apps. Most of the stuff I have are games and the ibook reader (with some dictionaries)

is Eden.

I've heard it's like Minecraft, but there are no resources to gather. You just build, and there are some amazing worlds to download. You can upload yours too.

They're working on a major update, but it's been delayed. But I play the current version for hours. I'm getting better at creating interesting buildings. I used to love Grand Theft Auto 3 more than anything else, but I've barely touched it since I found Eden.

But I like open ended games, where you can go off the track, destroy your vehicles and self in endless ways.

I have not. I just realized that if you listen to podcasts in the new app, the read marks do not follow over to iTunes - which makes it close to useless. How does Casts work in that respect?

I think my answers to this one should always be refreshed because I always get to have a new fave every now and then! Lol. RIght now, PicSay and Pixlr -O-Matic are very good photo editors/enhancers. Diabetes Pal for glucose monitoring. The usual Temple Run is still thrilling for me. But recently I can't get enough of the Guess the Logo app. Very addictive and spelling skills booster!
