Bah, I flattened it and saved it by mistake. Ah well. It'll have to do. At least Zell's neck wrinkles were perfect for the emperor.

I think that Zell Miller did an awesome job. He deserved credit, he had nothing to gain by doing this. As he said it was for his family and the future.

He stood on the stage in huff and lied, spewing exactly the tripe the crowd wanted to hear. Pffft, he's as much a Democrat as Strom Thurmond and Trent Lott, some of the more ugly and disgusting people of the human race.

But, of course, this thread's about funny Photoshop jobs. My apologies.

Bull $hit.

If he switched parties, he'd just be another Republican bashing Democrats. As a "Democrat" bashing Democrats, he's getting publicity out the wazoo. Zig Zag Zell (no offense, zigzag ) has a book to sell, for starters, and has nothing to lose since he is retiring. It'll also be interesting to see if he lands a cushy job working for one of Bush's political allies.

It's fun to dig up quotes of him praising Kerry and Clinton. Shortly after his RNC speech, he appeared on Chris Matthews, and made plane just how big of a nutter he was when Matthews brought some of those quotes up.

The man is a freaking tool, always has been, always will be, end of story.

More Drama. Heh

What exactly did he lie about? He didn't spew what people wanted to hear. He said what NEEDED TO BE SAID.

Jesus wouldn't CARE either way. Jesus didn't CARE about politics. He believed it was small matters in the BIG picture.

"Give to Caesar what is Caesar."

Jesus was how ever all about "helping yourself"

I've often been asked what party I think Jesus would have belonged to.

My answer has always been "None" He was neither left nor right.

Zimphire... tell me why you are more of a rightwing guy...

rightwings say that rich get richer and poor get poorer.

I'm being told by my politics/philosophy/economy teachers (PHDs) that capitalism (economical liberalism) says:

everyone has a chance to make big time money
everyone has a chance to change his social status

In theory, this is cool ****. But you see, in real life it's more more unrealistic. THE FACTS are that most of the time (scientific studies have been made on this, since politics have morphed into a science after the Renaissance (that's like post 1750)) poor stay poor and rich stay rich. Also, to make big time money you need: contacts & money. What happens if someone is NOT interested in those values? Doesn't he have the right to be treated equally and have money to live w>o selling his body to a multi national?

Also, economical liberalism (capitalism) states that the market will regulate itself. In real life, it never happens. There is NO magical hand that will redistribute the money to the poor. The FACT is that in the USA, the POOR are staying more poor than EVER and riche are getting richer than ever.

This is EVEN more true with market globalization where all small-medium enterprises (and EVEN some of the big companies out there) will eventually DIE because of the high concurrence. This will INEVITABLY leave MORE power to a HANDFUL of evil companies. More power to companies means less power to the workers. It means that the companies will eventually be more powerful than the governments (that's already the case, but it'll get worse in the year to follow if the working class does not do anything)

I'm not worried because every second we spend using capitalism (btw I know some countries do not rely on it, so that's very cool.. I'm also happy that in canada, we believe that the gvt should be more present in the market) is a step in the wrong direction. Sure the working class is NOT YET realizing what is really HAPPENING, because the same companies also control the medias, everything.

But one day,... ONE good day we will revolt. One day we'll get sick and tired... and it's not going to be funny. I hope I will live until then. I hope I will have the chance to revolt. I hope I will have the chance to break our chains.

Edit: I'm not even talking about war here... we all know that Bush loves war to resolve conflicts (and invent them too)... but what happened with the failure of the CIA Chavez Coup gives me a bit of hope.

I wouldn't be averse to the mods deleting or editing all of the off topic posts, including my own. ironkee was the first off topic post, with a close second (that wasn't even a response to ironkee) by wdlove.

Especially Demonhood - he always does his edits in a humorous fashion.

I'll not edit my own posts unilaterally, though. As long as the off topic chatter is here, my posts stay.

No, that is what the leftwing says.

ambush let me explain how it works. The left think the rich should give MORE than their share to compensate for the poor. In other words, the left are taxing the Rich to death.

SO when someone in the RIGHT takes over, they LOWER the taxes back to a reasonable level. And then the left scream "THEY ARE FAVORING THE RICH!@!@!11" And that isn't the case. They are just making it more EVEN.

Ambush not everyone wants to get off their butt and become rich. Some would rather sit around and do nothing. There are some people that don't want to be rich. They are happy the way they are.

Heh socialism promotes mediocrity. There will always be capitalism somewhere ambush. You are still young and idealistic. So I don't fault you for thinking in such a way.
