Hi, I set up a time machine backup drive, but I want to reset it so I can use it in Windows and write files to it normally again. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Use the Disk Utility to format it.
For use with Windows, you;d need to chose MS-DOS (Fat) format.

But you will lose any data on that drive. Be sure that this is really what you want.

Well, I am going to use it as my Time Machine backup for a little bit longer, but then I really need it free for other things considering I got a netbook without a disc drive. Thanks for the help.

You should not sacrifice your backup. Definitely not. Just get another (bigger!) external harddrive.

$70 for a 320GB WD is a great deal...I may have to splurge on that. xD

If you really need both a drive for time machine and for your netbook, may I recommend partitioning your drive into one HFS+ partition for time machine and one FAT32 partition for use with the netbook.
