I just got a program and (every time i've tryed to launch it) a message pops up and says that it can't open because i don't have "full access rights" to the computer and therefore i can register it, so it won't launch. I was the one and only owner of this computer, and the admin. (and for that matter the only user). I have 10.3.9 if that makes a real difference here... also i made sure that everything in my entire hard drive was under my ownership (and not 'system'). I can't find the problem, can someone please help?

You manually changed all the files on your drive to be owned by you? That's the wrong thing to do. Open Disk Utility (in /Applications/Utilities) and click Repair Permissions. That's the first thing you should do. Then go to the file you're having a problem with and deal with it separately.
