I just bought a second apogee duet and have been using the first one with gb. who elses uses the duet and how do you like it? Im not sure if I am going to keep the second one or not but am wondering about its performance possibly daisychained to a mbp using logic?

Performance will be about the same as with GarageBand - it's the same engine.

Do you intend to use *both* interfaces at the same time?
Then you will need to create an aggregate device in Audio/MIDI Config utility, but aggregate devices significantly increase processor overhead and may cause higher latency (which may not matter to you).

Daisy-chaining won't be a problem if you're not working with 50+ tracks.
