I'll have to take some pictures on the roof of where I work. On a clear night you can see the Philadelphia skyline. It's so nice.

Wow, that really makes me miss the city. I used to live on Illinois and McClurg. I had basically the same viewpoint but from Navy Pier (Illinois, McClurg)

Just look for the balconies enclosed in chain-link fencing, apartments with holes in the walls the size of a small NBA basketball player so the drug runners, gang bangers can get away through apartments, and listen for gunshots at pedestrians and drivers by. Notice, there are no stop signs around the buildings. Nobody would stop anyway.

Cops don't want to go there.

great view, how about some nice Night photos!

You can almost see my friends townhouse on photo #1 to the left. Kenzie and Canal across from the East Bank Club.

My favorite city!
Come out to the Beat Kitchen on July 9th or Martyrs this Wednesday to see my band!

My digital camera that I took the previous photos (Fuji FinePix - 2 megapixel) crapped out a couple of weeks ago. Instead of getting the Fuji fixed, I decided to go ahead and get the camera I've been wanting for a long time - Nikon D70. I just got the Nikon and ran to the roof of my building and snapped this. You should see the full size version of this pic, it's amazing.

Those are sweet cjrivera! Post links to high-res version if you have them.

Here is the previous one I posted with the levels/curves untouched if you would rather adjust the pic to your own preferences with PS.

Shouldn't someone be in trouble here for not warning about the large pics?

That second shot with the yellow crane must have been taken a bit ago. I think Water Place (that aqua/beige building)'s second building has more than the 10 stories is shows. Just curious... either way, I really appreciate this photo. It shows my old condo, the small 12 story right across the street from Dick's Last Resort.

Thanks, I want to use it as my desktop on my cinema display.
Check the post above yours.

Unfortunately it was taken with my Sony 505 (3megapixel). I wish I could have taken the same shots with my Canon DigitalRebel.

Nice pics... since you offered to let us adjust your image, I figured I'd go in the opposite direction and make a darker night scene:

Thanks guys.

I'm usually not much of a photographer (mainly just pics of the kids), but I got lucky with these 2 pix, especially since I took them from on this (while moving)
