bingo ... otherwise they'd be like combs .. with diamond encrusted ipods... which brings up something else.. do u see something wrong with rich people getting diamond encrusted ipods instead of a bunch of people getting ipods (hp variant or not) for free at the same cost?

Do you mean if someone spent the same amount of cash on many iPods, instead of covering one with diamonds, and gave away the excess iPods?
I'd rather people realise when they have impossibly large amounts of money and try to do something good with it.

I don't think having a diamond encrusted iPod is any more a sign of good taste than the ones this thread refers to. But then I don't believe that the idea behind it, nor the idea behind the whole 'bling' culture, is one of good taste. It's about showing that your **** is bigger, brighter and more expensive than everyone else's. Apparently that's an important message for kids to grow up with.
