Hi, I have comcast cable with the motorola surfboard on my PC, but I've decided to switch it over to the ibook, no network. I tried plugging the USB cable from the modem into my ibook, and i can't seem to get it to work. Is there something special I have to do?

Use the ethernet connection instead. It's clearly labeled on the back of the unit.

Motorola doesn't have drivers for using the modem with USB last time I checked. Just power down the modem and laptop. Plug in the ethernet cable and turn everything back on. Should work fine.
