These are the MINIMAL requirements: (for a high schooler in a video editing class)
iBook G4 933 processor, 512mb ram, airport wireless card & under warranty (applecare preferred)
I have $900.00 to spend and can also pay shipping on top of that so $925.00 or so
Must come with the box and accessories and be in excellent condition-for a gift!

with an education discount you can get a brand new ibook 1.33ghz G4 with all that for $949
even without education discount you can get it for $999, that would be a much better purchase than a 933mhz.

Go on over to the for sale or trade forum at xlr8yourmac.com. One of my fellow members there has a brand new iBook for sale for $849. If I were in the market for one, I'd grab it myself.

I got a 1.33 ghz model with 1.5 maxxed ram and 80 gig hard drive for $950.00 locally. It came with an in-sleeve, outer carrying case, a wireless mouse, a keyboard protector, original box and all accessories and only 3 months old in pristine condition! I think I scored :-)
