Oh, those are excellent as well.

I love the marzipan and the rum/raisin ones.

Dark Chocolate isn't a brand. If Hershey's "Special Dark" isn't good enough for you, what suits your fancy?

Ack, no Hershey's!!! (Except on s'mores, and when it's free.)

Ghirardelli dark chocolate is pretty good. I'm not enough of a connoisseur to know of any better brands (or care).

See's Chocolates!! Ritter Second.
Ghirardelli has a waxy taste, so does Godiva.

Belgium, well the one from Europe, but here in Calgary we have a brand called Bernard Callebaut which is incredible. I love the caramel, manon, ameretto, rhum.

But, also the plain chocolate one.

See's chocolates kick ass. Expensive however. Ritter sport rule. Marzipan one is great, as is the plain milk. Lindt kick ass also.

The Belgian co. Dolfin makes some pretty astounding dark and milk chocolate bars, my favorite variety being Milk Chocolate with Masala. The ones with cinnamon and cacao nibs rock, too.

On the other hand, chocolate with green tea is just foul. I don't know what they were thinking with that one.

The very best chocolate, for the money, is Hershey's. Who can resist one?

If you haven't tasted See's then you haven't tasted what fine chocolate is all about. My daughter is visiting from Philadelphia. All of her friends have demanded that she bring back some See's when she returns. I consider myself fortunate that there is a See's store a mile from my house. Hershey's should not even be mentioned when discussing good chocolate. It has too much of a cocoa flavor and the texutre is gritty.

Aren't you the white supremacist we got on here?

Why would you like anything other than white chocolate?

Godiva (Belgium), Lindt...and they have a darn good chocolatier here in town that makes excellent dark chocolate with pepper. Anything over 70% coco is fine with me.

a trip to Belgium in 2004 took me to Brugge - it was pouring the day I was there. My girl and I were soaked, tired and hungry. We strolled down this tiny street and saw Dumon Chocolatier... we went in:

I can't say enough about the stuff - amazing...

Lindt, Godiva & La Maison make some delicious varieties - Lindt & Godiva for truffles & pralines, La Maison for solids & cremes. MMmmmm.

Surprisingly, Hershey's 60% Dark is pretty good, which can't be beat for a 1.50.
But regular Hershey's is so grainy it's gross.

I guess there is no best for me, too many choices.

Moonstruck makes very good chocolate. The only place I've ever been able to find the stuff (other than online) is in bridal shops, though.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!
