Sorry man, but you're a reasonable cause for concern. Remember back to sex offender guy, we asked him to take pictures and he just argued how he was legit for awhile and eventually posted them. Just take the pictures and show that you're legit. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble.
Update: putting his e-mail through PayPal receives "This recipient is not yet registered. PayPal will send an email to the recipient explaining how to complete your transaction."
He must be operating under a different e-mail address.
