Favi has announced its release of the
Swivel Screen Portfolio case for iPad Air, featuring a detachable Bluetooth keyboard. Aiming to fill the gap between tablet and laptop usage, the portfolio case positions an iPad Air in a similar manner to a Macbook setup. Its Bluetooth keyboard holds an 80-hour charge if used continually, and includes scissor-switch keys, which allow for quiet and stable typing. Fully adjustable, the stand can rotate for comfortable viewing. Available in black, silver and gold, the Favi Swivel Screen Portfolio with keyboard is priced at $40.
Server management utility Luminous 1.0 released for Mac
Pixeleyes has announced its release for
Luminous 1.0 for Mac OS X 10.7 or later. A server management utility, Luminous allows for organization and monitoring of IPMI-enabled servers. Sensors can be monitored and servers can be restarted within the app, and can function over slow network connections and passwords, securely stored within the user's Keychain. Luminous can replace many of the features Apple once offered in its Server Monitor tool; the app supports the Intel-based Xserve line-up, and additionally adds compatibility for most IPMI-equipped enterprise servers.
