Is there anything that can monitor your network traffic on OSX... when I search google etc.. I find loads for the windows world but nothing for the mac.

Is there any utility which can help me measure my usage? I have a wired/wireless LAN, but only one connection outside is through the DSL router (D-Link G604T).

I have seen a couple that let you monitor your airport usage to your router, or your hardwired usage to your router... but cant find anything that monitors what you router to the outside world is using.

Reason is I have more than one Mac (and/or PC) Connected to the internet wirelessly to the router and want to manage traffic overall and NOT just traffic coming to my mac!

Please can someone help me monitor the throughput of my connection to the internet.

Thanks
Darren

This one looks good for the PC... but cant find anything like that for the mac!

Infact it doesnt have to go that indepth just needs to show me my router to internet usage rather than the ones I can find that only show my mac to the router usage!

Thanks

I think NetBarrier does it, but it is not free.

There is then this free app, don't know if it is OK for you.

I had a look at the free app and its only for that company not for use with any company

I have tried so many and they all only monitor traffic to and from the mac to the router via the ethernet or wireless... but none that I can find monitor the router to the internet which is what I need as I have more than once mac/pc connected to the network.

Thanks
Darren

Yeah thats what I am using but it only monitors traffic coming into your mac NOT traffic coming from the internet to your router

Looks like I will never find anything!
