After one of several crashes of OS X while simultaneously running Classic and the carbonized IE, I restarted and was greeted with the Mac version of the blue screen of death: a blank blue screen with no finder or anything else showing. The keyboard and mouse did appear to be functional, however as I tried hitting the command-option-delete combination that called up the force quit dialogue but listed no programs in the window. I finally had to restart pressing the command-option-shift-delete keys to boot into another partition with OS 9.1. As of that last crash, I cannot get the OS X finder to appear and I have to reboot to another partition to get back control of the computer. OS X is effectively dead in the water. Can anyone offer some help on this one? Vital Statistics: B&W G3 400; 768 MB Ram; OS X is on 20 GB partition of 30 MB Maxtor internal IDE HDD (master); Classic installed on same drive as OS X but am using a system on a separate Maxtor 27 GB HDD to run Classic.
