To set up a rule in Mail to trigger an automator action? Basically, I want to be able to send an email to my computer from a remote location and cause it to shut itself down. Is that doable?
So, maybe have it look for a texxt string, like "Turn off The Blackbook" or something, then trigger a shutdown action.
Thanks.

Sure.

Make a rule that looks for something particular, like your example above. If the condition is met, have it open an AppleScript (it's a built-in action in Mail) that shuts down your Mac.
