I have a few members on ignore around here. Occasionally, I want to read a post by one of them, so I click on "View Post" and their post is shown in a separate window.

Since the forums were switched to the search-engine-readable URLs, when I click on View Post I get an "invalid link" error. I have to remove the person from my ignore list to read their posts. This is not something I wish to do on a regular basis.

Hopefully, this is easy to fix.

Learn better self discipline.

I often find those who use the ignore list always cheat.

What's the purpose?

I think we should rather have a 'respected users' list rather than 'ignore list'. Positive affirmation instead of negative.

I think the that list may be rather small here

One other suggestion we have a ca$h ignore list. It will use advanced heuristics to figure out the next nic he uses and places that nic in everyone's ignore list

Even a toilet isn't always full of crap. That doesn't mean I want one following me around.

[Cue mental image of Chuckit running nervously through the street with a toilet bumping and hopping along merrily behind him, wondering why he’s trying so hard to rid himself of its presence]

Ignore-list me and click on "View Post" and you'll see.
