The GUI forum is dead, can we have it removed?

I wouldn't really call it dead...people have been posting as recently as earlier this month in it. It doesn't see as much traffic as some of the other subforums, but I don't think it's dead enough to completely remove it.
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Active - I wouldn't really qualify that forum as active. The very purpose of the forum seems moot at this point. In the beginning when theming and changing the graphical elements of OSX was in vogue, the forum made sense. Now not so much and we only have the screen shot thread being posted too.

...and what's the benefit???
Sure, most people who have been active there have moved to the Macthemes Forum but some still post there once in a while!

just merge the forums into the application forum and the benefit is you get to read the single monthly gui post that might occur, and actually have moderation and things are better run.

If there is not much activity then why does it need a boost in moderation?

A dead goldfish was also seen moving as recently as earlier this month. It's still dead.

I agree with Maflynn. If the GUI forum doesn't have as much activity as the others sub-forums, it could be merge with the Applications sub-forum. The reason why, which I think is what Maflynn means, is that this way moderators will have one section less to be checking, hence running things better.
