OK, so I decided to make my gf a little computer she would love. I found a great priced ibook on the forums here, and after a little hardwork repainting. She got her first Mac, which happened to be a pink ibook

I did clamshell, bottom case, and battery.
Here's a pic of the ibook and her, sorry about the quality, it's from my cell phone. I'm sure she's thrilled that I'm posting it as she has the just outta bed look goin on.

cool, nice job.

did you paint the outside? or strip the white paint on the inside, and paint the inside of the case? what paint did you wind up using?

The only hard part about doing it was stripping the paint. Just required lots of time, but does come off. Other then that, just popped the casings off. Stripped, and repainted them.

The battery was the only pain, and I ended up makin it look bad. The cover doesnt screw or clip on, it's help on by strong double sided tape. I couldnt fine any strong enough, so I just used modelers glue, which permentantly attached it, but also melted off some of the paint. But whatever, it's on the bottom, no big woop.

For the paint I just used an enamel spray paint nothing special. I was debating on using a krylon spray that's for plastics, but just ordered some cheap stuff online.
