Is there such a thing as a widescreen or wide aspect monitor in this size or close to it? Even at 20", about the only one I can find is Apple's.

If I get a new Mac mini, I'd rather go smallish on monitor size but also get a widescreen if that's possible. Any ideas?

Dell 2005FPW, 20" widescreen, same pixel count and dimensions as the Apple 20". Cheaper, more inputs, nice display. Try and wait till they're on sale @$650, it happens quite often.

I'll second that. While I personally have not see one, I've read many complementary reports regarding that display (the Dell 2005WFP).

Most 17" widescreen displays (Sony makes one) are 1280x768 and aren't much cheaper than the Dell 20" widescreen (1680x1050).

BINGO!!

Dell's 20.1" Widescreen 2005FPW went on sale for $549 today. ($200 off)

Search the Small Business section for "2005fpw"

Grab it while it's hot!
