I jest installed Ubuntu on my moms old dell. I am really loving it!!

I tried to partition the HD but i couldn't get it to partition so i said screw it and erased the HD. I plan to experiment with it on the dell and maybe install it on my MacBoook when I upgrade the HD. But I don't want to erase the HD .

I was also going to ask where is a good linux forum. (like (MacNN)

Dell specs: Inspiron 6000/Pentium M/1 GB RAM/60 GB HD

MacBook specs: Core Duo 2.0 GHz/1 GB RAM/80 GB HD (To upgrade to 100 GB HD)

You could have just asked someone to punch you in the stomach. Would have been quicker and easier IMO. However, Ubuntu Forums would be the place to go.
