I am interested in installing this audio player but the home page is all in Japanese! Is there an English equivalent? Can't find any obvious places to click to download it.

This is no good as all the links direct to www.whamb.com which is the page in Japanese.

Nothing starts to install so there must be a link on that page. I can't find it if there is.

I've managed to translate the Japanese on the home page:

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate...rUrl=Translate

Odd as there doesn't seem to be any mention of WHAMB on there. Judging from the translation, perhaps a server error?

I dunno. The "Download Now" link on the first English page in those search results appeared to work just fine. It spat an item called "whambosx.sit" into my downloads folder.

Are you looking for a download, or for conversation?

Well that link goes to the page described above.

Looking at the responses on Versiontracker, this might explain why it's not working:

"I wanted to check this app out, and see how it compares to ToolPlayer; unfortunately, their site no longer exists, or it is down."

A shame as I wanted an audio player that handled a wider variety of codecs.

Oh. Sorry.

It was the SECOND link, not the first one.

Downloaded just fine from the tucows site.

Thanks for the link. I've managed to download Whamb but it looks like the .ogg modules aren't loaded so it won't play these codecs. Any ideas how to get plug-ins for these?

I thought it was supposed to include playback of ogg vorbis files.

http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/

Use the QuickTime plug-in for Ogg Vorbis instead and you can play those files in any application on Mac including iTunes.
