I'm upgrading to a new iPod and selling my old iPod Classic. It is in good physical shape (has some nicks and the back is scratched, but the screen has a screen protector on it). Pictures coming soon.
It is NOT working as an iPod right now (tried restoring it, but it still won't work). It IS working as a hard drive. It has 74.3GB post formatting.
You CAN add AppleCare until 1/13 (I can give you the serial number prior to shipping so you can register the plan ASAP, if you want).
Seem to be going for $100-120 on eBay for these type of as-is iPods so I'm looking for about $85 including shipping (insurance extra) shipped to the lower 48. Open to offers. May consider trading for 2nd Gen iPod touch.
Pictures soon...

Knocked $5 off the price, realized I was a bit high.

why not take it to the Apple store or try to have it repaired under warranty?

Apple only covers it for 90 days unless you buy AppleCare within the first year. That's why.

All iPods have a one year warranty. 90 days is for calling in for support.
