I was just curious is it hard or anything to install VPC or is just like (almost) every other app - easy to install?

Its easy. Esp. if it comes with an OS already. If you do install an OS that isn't included, it is dog slow, but its easy.

From the actual CDs, it's very easy to install. It's dealing with windows that's hard.

So installing an OS that comes with VPC is easy? Cool.
Is there any big known problems with installing VPC (esp Win XP Home)?
Thanks!

Make sure you download the latest update. I heard it actually makes it usable in X.

It's been said in other threads that VPC is optimized for Windows 2K.

Thanks guys for the tips.
Probably the last question - any reason why not to install VPC? Big problems? Crashes? Makes OS X unstable? Bad installer? Oh, is there a bug where it sometimes prevents sleep or it won't wake up from sleep?
Thanks for the help! You guys have been very nice and helpful. Thank you.

I use VPC5 with Win98se and Win2000....yes, Win2000 is definitely the faster of the two (on my dual800...1.1GB ram)

My experience is the program is free of such problems. If you buy the version with the OS included its a piece of cake. Otherwise installing Windows on VPC is easier than on real hardware, but not as easy as an OS X install.
So there is no reason not to install VPC, the big question is do you have a reason to install VPC?

Does VPC 5.0.2 fix the sleep issue mentioned in the PowerBook forum?
