It looks awful. I do not like the selected menu item left and right edges. The same thing goes for your Milk Tiger mod. Not to mention all the things you missed in the Milk mod (ie: the multicoloured template leftovers, mixed pieces of graphite and aqua). I hope this isn't the future.

Cool, i'm saving on bandwidth! Since this is my first attempt into the themeing foray I'd like a little lattitude for missed items...thanks for posting your opinion though, i'm sure it means something to someone somewhere.....

DJ, this is by far and away one of the best mods to a theme in a long time. I really enjoyed Swiz's GUiPod theme when it came out, but several areas in my mind weren't 'polished' enough for my tastes (Prolly due to the release of SS). This takes GUiPod and places it on the level where it belongs in the themeing community. I for one hope that you continue to mod themes and hopefully one day do a complete theme from scratch. I like your style.. smooth, clean, effective, and down right bad ass bro...

Every once in a while, I toy with the idea of learning to theme, then I come across a post like this, and blow the idea off. Themers must be total masochists to put up with this kind of crap.

Why are people so smitten with these "Tiger-style" themes lately? Wasn't everyone talking about how much they hated the endcaps when it was previewed? What happened to that sentiment?

It's okay, and I do think the effect is kind of neat and a good way to add extra color, but I'm still not a fan of the caps.

In the absense of any really new themes lately, we guifreaks will like anything new....

Swiz made this prior to SS and TP being able to have app skins. You'll have to use Safaricon to add the buttons although I am going to try and add these to the theme. I'm learning a bit at a time.

he doesn't need to make a theme to have an opinion.

This is true but if you'll notice, those that do theme offer constructive critiscism and not your 'hit and run' comment like i"it sucks, you suck, I don't like it".........ya gotta have thick skin to post in here though. Going public with personal mods cut way down on the PM's though...

I've got a few previews in the works as well. I hope the flames are nearly as fun as usual. Beautiful mod here IMO. menus.. I'd change but hey, they look good.

Never said he did, but there's a right way to offer an opinion and there's just being a d!ck. I'd spell it out, but it's pretty clear to anybody with even half a brain. I don't have the time or patience to create my own themes, but I don't bash themes I don't like... I just choose not to use them.

ya gotta have thick skin to post in here though.
At least themers know this, I suppose. It's brutal in here sometimes.

Ninety-five percent of the themes that come out of this forum are way superior to any Windows theme I come across. This is no exception. Nice job on a cool mod, digitaljames.
