well, with the Tiger you can make it go through hoops on fire. There may be other things you can do with it. just don't go get bitten.

What sort of cool tricks are you looking for ? macosxhints.com has a list of Tiger hints and tricks, there might be some there for you to look at.

For something really special try holding down ⌘ and typing "AQUA".

Hold down shift as you minimize a window, it will go in slow motion. Works if hold down shift for other things too!

Oh, and naughty Jason+Lisa, but I guess we should expect that from Nottinghammers.

Select some text and drag it into the Safari Dock-icon to do a Google search of that text. If you have an URL that is no link, select the URL and drag it into the Safari Dock-icon to open the site.

Drag an image out of a web page from Safari into the Preview Dock-icon to open the image in preview (in case you want to view it fullscreen or something like that).

It would seem that the profile hadn't been updated for a little while...5 years!

This will make it three posts! Busy day.

This thread is great, unfortunately I fear we have heard the last from jason or lisa because they have clearly far exceeded their recommended MacNN usage, and have probably OD'd on the medication their doctor prescribed in case of 'NN addiction.

One good trick may be to get some windows using pal of yours around and then deliberately download the mutated bird-flu equivalent of a compuer virus and then just watch has it sits there doing nothing at all to your Mac.

It's nice to see that we have become the butt of all your jokes, many thanks for giving us a chuckle.

And yes it's still Lisa and Jason as in two seperate people (contrary to what you may have read!). And may I state now that we have never and NEVER will be on any kind of medication!

I feel I have derailed this thread for an offhand comment, I would like to take this opportunity to get the thread back on the straight and narrow. In iTunes under "about" if you hold down the alt key the writing scrolls in the opposite direction.

This may be a lame tip but anything that may take the focus off my apparent cross-dressing medication taking double life! (according to the above posts)

At least none that you are consciously aware of
Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)
