hi again,
I am currently using the bitorrent client for the macs, i would like a better one, since it only works with some torrent files. I have tried Azureus, but it just bonces on the bottom bar then it disappears. I was wondering if there was a better one available, similar to bitcomet or if someone could tell me wht's wrong with my Azureus.

If you're trying to use Azureus on an Intel Mac, there's a special download for that one currently at: Intel Macs - AzureusWiki

I use Bits on Wheels. It has a lot more busy UI than Transmission but I like it because it give more info on what's going on.

Seconded about Transmission, simple and elegant. If only the app icon was cooler… (*)
(*) Yes, I have replaced it. But being available on different platforms, the Mac counterpart has to feature the nicest icon !

I third Transmission. I think that too much information is distracting and I only occasionally need to check some of the finer details. The latest release (Transmission) has a new Inspector icon in the toolbar which enables you to view detailed info about the torrent you are downloading. Perfect for my needs, and, it's fast.

Azureus. The only problem w/ this program is that you have to drag the torrent file into the window. Still has some slight bugs to work out. Allows file selection.
I used to use Transmission, but dumped it after finding out many trackers began to ban it due to ul/dl ratios being messed up. Thus dl output isn't nearly as fast as other bt clients that are reporting correct ratios. Also, another problem is it doesn't have a file selection option. The program is easy to use, but lacks refinement.

Since when? I can double-click.

Transmission is great. I also have "Tomato Torrent" installed.
