"a pattern of distortion and suppression of climate science by presidential appointees in the space agency’s headquarters press office"

"Our investigation found that during the fall of 2004 through early 2006, the NASA Headquarters Office of Public Affairs managed the topic of climate change in a manner that reduced, marginalized, or mischaracterized climate change science made available to the general public through those particular media over which the Office of Public Affairs had control (i.e., news releases and media access)."

Rule #8 Violation

Please tell us what you think of this news article.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Rule 8.

Edit: scooped.

From the article...

"In a 48-page report issued on Monday as a result of a request in 2006 by 14 senators, the internal investigative office said the activities appeared limited to the headquarters press office. No evidence was found showing that officials higher at NASA or in the Bush administration were involved in interfering with the release of climate information"

Seems relevant to the issue yet somehow escaped citation.

If you'd read the title, you'd know I think this is 'great'.

More allegations which support what many of us have believed for some time now: Bush does not like to hear from anybody that doesn't say what he wants to hear.

This is true, but I don't think that's what's being said in the article.

And to be clear, the allegation part was 2 years ago.
