I just built a website to help my wife sell her jewelry. She designs and assembles each piece herself.
So go buy something nice for your girlfriend/wife/jewelry wearing SO.
http://www.crybabydesigns.com
This is my first major project. I welcome you to flame away with any suggestions you may have as to ways I could make the site better. Only family/friends have seen it so far and I'm not sure if they will give me objective advice.

i think you may want to create a logo and brand each page with it. i think the patterns are ok and go with the "feel", but i think the site is missing a distinct color palette. imho.
nice work, clear html programming as well.

APU, Could you tell me a little more about what this means?
I'm not from a design/art background.

i think it can be improved by a distinct color palette
that means a dominant color followed by sub colors that compliment the dominant one
you sort of have it now with the pastel oranges and blacks. but it still feels a little random because the blue and greens throw it off a bit.
but thats nitpickin'...site is solid
