I have a really little, sort of annoying Software Update problem in OS 9.1. Whenever I check for updates through the program, I always get the Disk First Aid 8.6.1 update to appear even though I updated to that a couple months ago. Just to check, I let it update and the next time it checked, the same update was available. This has happened on my G4 and on my iMac (Sage/450). Thanks!

Trash the file Mac HD/System Folder/Preferences/Updateable Items
Empty trash, try Software Update again.

Hi Rlorenc,
That is a known issue, Apple is working to address it... yes, it is very annoying... It happens intermittently to some people...

It is also happening to me. Trashed the preferences and it kept showing up after running the update. I thought I was the only one experiencing this.
