Well, isn't this what the MegaHertz thing is all about?

I mean, seriously, no home user is gonna really notice the difference between 850 and 1 GigaHertz.

Higher-clocked chips are selling far better than they should based on actual speed.

But it is cool that OS X will support the quad processor machines supposedly coming in 2002. (getting back on topic )
