Asus has announced the official launch of its new
ZenFone Selfie at this year's Computex in Taipei. As you might expect from the name, Asus' latest smartphone places a strong emphasis on the front-facing camera. While both of the handset's cameras offer 13-megapixel resolutions, the front f/2.2 aperture lens boasts an 88-degree field of view for capturing panoramic self-portraits of up to 140 degrees.
Others features include a 5.5-inch IPS display running at 1920x1080, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, an Adreno 405 GPU, and Android Lollipop. Much like the ZenFone 2, Asus' latest handset will also be sold in two models, offering either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Customers can also choose between 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, with the option to expand with up to an additional 64GB through the microSD card slot.
Color options include Pure White, Chic Pink, Aqua Blue, Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold, and Glamour Red, though both pricing and release date have yet to be discussed.
