Hi,

Has anyone else had troubles with sound in OS X?

I've got the MacWorld build (4K17), and the sound worked the first time I used it, but stopped working shortly after. I reinstalled OS X today, completely wiping the partition, but it doesn't work!

Sound in OS 9 works, however, and the startup chime is there...

I read in another thread that unplugging a USB microphone fixed it (?), but I don't have one plugged in! I've got a Lacie USB CD Burner, a Wacom Graphire (no use currently, because there are no drivers), a Gravis GamePad Pro, and a keyboard and mouse... I've unplugged all except the mouse and k/b, but the sound didn't return...

Has anyone else encountered this, or know how to fix it?

Thanks

(I'm on a Sawtooth G4/400, BTW)

Nope. Haven't had any sound problems since the good ol' days of DP3...
