Since installing my two firewire drives won't mount. They mount fine in OS9, but not in 10.2.8?? Any help would be appreciated. Tried one suggestion of booting completely then turning the drive on... still no luck

Try going back to 10.2.6. If you can't because you didn't back up, then shame on you.

Same here...I can use my FireWire CD-RW fine (to burn discs, anyway), but not my FireWire Zip drive.
