Easy people-

It's probably very obvious, but is it possible to change the screengrab settings so that (apple - shift - 4) saves a grab as a .jpg instead of a .pdf?

cheers---

a nuisance, isn't it?
you could try this

AFTER i snap a pic (appl-shift-4, btw, which lets you select what area of the screen you want to snap!), i drag the pdf onto the "kunvert" icon, and get a jpg (and you can set kunverts prefs to delete the orig file and close itself)

Or you could just open the shot in Preview and export it as a JPEG.

once upon a time tinker tool would allow you to change the default save. Not sure if it still can do this.
