I've just noticed that my powerbook is running a little slower than normal. So i checked on the activity monitor, and found that Gmail Status is consistently sucking 25-35% of the CPU. Even when not active.

Anyone else found this? I mean iTunes only sucks 4% when playing so surely this little app shouldn't be sucking so much?

Will e-mail the author in a bit and see what he says

Yeah I've seen it sometimes where it will take up a lot of CPU (>30%). Restarting the app will solve the problem, but it's still annoying.
