I have no idea what forum this should go in, but is there any way to turn off the "tooltips" feature in the new forum software? When I hover over a topic title in a forum, a little dialog pops up with the first sentence or so of the post, and it often covers up other topic titles. (Plus, I just don't like it.) I looked in the User CP but couldn't find that option, although I don't know what that feature is called, so maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

Thanks,

MM

i don't believe there is an option to turn it off per user. it's an on/off thing globally. i'm not the biggest fan of it, but some people enjoy it.

I hate it. It always pops up at just the wrong moment. I'm able to make an adult decision about whether to read the content of the thread based on its title. If I decide to read the content, I click the thread. Otherwise, I don't want to read the content.

Make it go away.

It needs to be eliminated.

Once people realize that it's on, they start making even worse thread titles that have no descriptive value of the topic in the thread at all.

I liked the functionality, but it popped up too often - that was my only gripe.
