GO SHARKS!!!

8-0 home games. They're 1st in the whole damn NHL. w00t!

That Blues game yesterday was AWESOME. Hockey at its best. Great saves by both teams, back and forth scoring, last second tie, and a win in the shootout.

Boucher stood on his head the last couple of minutes of tonight's game.
That was a really exciting game, but the Coyote pups wanted it more.

So you're still technically undefeated if you tie a game, right?

DAMN close game. Lost in the shootout. Dang. Still 3 points up on 2nd place in the division.

GO SHARKS!!!

Yehaw, that makes 7 in a row.

That double pad save by Nabby in the 3rd period was incredible.

They are 12-0-1 at home. GO SHARKS!!!

Sharks just tied the NHL record for the most points scored in the first 25 games, at 43. They are now the leading starting season points scorer in the history of the NHL. GO SHARKS!!!

Oh, make that 8 game winning streak.

This is me retracting all the bad things i said about such a great start, the sharks are playing unbelievable and without injuries they could easily run the table. To bad they don't play the pens till February

My secondary goal for the Sharks (if they don't win the cup) is to tie or beat yer Penguins at most consecutive wins.

My tertiary goal is for the Sharks to remain undefeated the whole season for home games.

I think it's cuz of their new Black Armor jersey. Everyone knows black makes stuff stealthier, faster, cooler, and more affective.

Phew! What a close game. Mason looked like he was on his game in the 1st period. Got really worried. Nabbie wasn't doing too grate. By the 2nd and 3rd periods, both teams looked to be an even matchup. Then Marleau got that one-handed goal.

Man, that double check by Murray! That was one of the coolest checks I've ever seen.

Uh, that wasn't an awesome check by Murray. It was a missed check by the Blues player. You don't check people when carrying the puck.

And dude, you're talking to yourself in here. How long have you been a hockey fan? Just curious.

He collided into his own teammate just when Murray was hitting the other guy. It was still 2v1 and the other 2 were flattened out.

I've been an armchair fan ever since the Sharks were created. So about 20 years, but I don't follow it religiously. I don't really follow the other teams except towards the end of the season when I know it'll affect the Sharks. I've created other Sharks threads in the past, but usually towards the end of the season, and I participate in the NHL threads. Sharks are just doing incredibly awesome this year, so I have a lot to say for people like me who don't really follow the other teams.

I don't have season tickets, I only have one jersey, I don't follow player trades/salaries/personal fallacies. I just enjoy watching hockey more than any other sport except rugby (which I find just as entertaining.) I find baseball, football, soccer, and especially basketball boring as all hell. I'll occasionally watch college football, though.

Is that OK with you? Am I allowed to be a fan of hockey without taking my shirt off and painting my chest and face blue and white?

You have my permission to be a hockey fan. Yes.

And the Sharks have been around for almost 20 years. I think they started around '91.

And again, Murray was fighting with Hinote for the puck, when [someone] came in for a check and missed. All Murray did was get out of the way.

I have to admit that I did not watch this game, so all I have to go on is your very blurry GIF.

Then hit the "last game" button, then click on the 700k link for the highlights.

No! Sharks lost in OT against the Blue Jackets. Blue Jackets have been outplaying the Sharks all year. Some good news, though, because that OT point just let the Sharks set yet another NHL record: Sharks now have the most starting points for the first 30 games in the history of the NHL, beating out the 1929-1930 Bruins.

GO SHARKS!!!

The Red Wings are playing like utter dog-sh!+ in the defensive end, Osgood's GAA is above 3, and yet they are only 9 points back.

Sharks will burn out--see 95-96 Red Wings: 131 points and no Cup.

Phew, ouch! Well, they had to lose some time or another. At least it was to a tried and true team. Luckily it wasn't a home game. I'm hoping for an undefeated home game season.

I just got back from my cabin. There's nothing that can be even remotely construed as internet access there. A friend of my mom's completely flipped out and I had to take her home early, so now I get to spend the rest of my vacation at home.

On the flip side of the Red Wings loss, Sharks just won 2 more in a row with a 5-0 win over the Canucks, but a loss in OT against the blues. Still got a point, though Boston is closing in.
