I posted this in another thread as promised but I thought someone here might be intrested as well...

Using the iSub with the Cube or QS while running the original USB Cube speakers works in OS X but they ar ot on pair in volume. The iSub sounds way too much for my taste and I wanted to be able to adjust the volume on it as you can do on the iSticks/iSub set-up.


I called a friend of mine who does electronics R&D to helped me with this and here's some short info on how.

-We used what we found which was a 10KOhm rectangular multiturn(15) sealed trimmer potentiometer.
-Moved a surfaced mounted capacitor to be able to solder the cables connecting the trimmer inbetween.
-Used superglue to fasten the potentiometer to the mainboard and drilled a small hole for tuning the iSub sound level from outside with a small screwdriver!
