I have a PowerMac 5500 225 with 128 MB RAM and a Crescendo G3 400 Mhz card installed. My system kicks ass except when it comes to graphic perfomance as I still use the 2 MB VRAM that came with it. Now , on the tech spec sheet of my computer, it says that graphic acceleration is only available when running the monitor at 640 x 480 resolution and 16 bit color depth. Is there any way around this without forking out for a PCI card. Thanks
Steve.

Some QuickTime and/or QuickDraw excelleration may only work at 640X480, but otherwise there really isn't any way to work around this limitation.
