Is it possible to download the stickies app? For some reason I managed to delete it a few months ago

You should be able to pull it off of your install discs using Pacifist, else let us know your OS version and I'm sure someone will email it to you if you give them your address via private message.

What are you using Stickies for ?

The reason I'm asking: there are tons of good, free alternatives, that actually might do a better job that Stickies.

Ive never really found anywhere decent to download freebies from, have a look every now and again, get no where and forget about it

Any recommendations? I only use it to keep temporary notes/numbers etc

Well, here is what I'm using, but it might be overkill for temporary data: EverNote.

Nice features of Evernote:
* offers free syncing with other computers
* offers encrypted text
* offer free web access
* free iPhone app

Thanks but looks very overkill for my needs, if anyone could email me the stickies app I would be very grateful, just want the basic notes that pop up and disappear in seconds really. email is don't post your email address - you'll get spammed to death! - seanc
