I'm in the process of beefing up my powerbook station when for when i use it at my desk at home

(dual display, more ram, and 250 gig firewire 800 drive)

i just thought i would tell everyone that when i went from 512 MB to 1.5 gigs of ram the difference is quite amazing, everything is silky smooth

I commonly use Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, while using all the regular goodies, (mail, ical, itunes, iphoto)

I mess around with big files and i must say, give os x all the ram it can get, its beautiful

cheers,
Matt
