Does anyone know if Apogee Duet 2 (USB2) works with latest Mountain Lion Server.? A friend of me is replacing his dead MBP with a Mac mini Server so compatibility is of uttermost importance.
There is a statement on Apogee website on compatibility, but Mountain Server is anywhere to be found. I guess that if it does work with Mountain Lion, then ML Server compatibility is a given.

Should my friend need to worry about it.?
Worst case scenario, he could nuke ML Server and stick to Mountain Lion as I understand the Mac mini Server comes with both preinstalled, is that so.?
TIA.

OS X "Server" is just the same basic OS, with a small package of admin and server tools installed via an App Store download.
The "Server" part is pretty much a joke, these days.
There is no difference in the base system, so compatibility with various peripherals should be completely identical.

The Mac mini Server is listed at the Apple Store as including Mountain Lion but the one my friend got from the Apple Store came with no M-L preinstalled.
Would it be eligible for a free Mountain Lion upgrade.?
