Need a little ... help...

I have read and read and read... but am still wondering if 168-pin SDRAM DIMMs can be used with PowerMac 7300-7600's?

Apple says they cannot, but I see alot of folks selling (Ebay) SDRAM DIMMs pulled from PowerMac 7300-7600's ... WHAT IS THE FINAL DEAL?!?

The DIMMS you are looking for go under the name "FPM 168pin DIMMS".

They are not SDRAM. If is says SDRAM, it isn't for your 7300.

Check Deal-ram for the best prices. like this: <a href="http://dealram.com/prices/18/128MB.html" target="_blank">http://dealram.com/prices/18/128MB.html</a>

SDRAM is very different from EDO or FPM DRAM - which is what you need.
FIrst off, SDRAM operates at 3.3 volts and your machine is 5 volts.
There are also huge electrical/operation differences.

New 128 meg modules are available for under $30 - which is a pretty good deal.
