This used to happen on my iBook 600 as well. I delete that user's Preference directory and haven't had the problem since. Of course, you have to reset all your preferences and posisbly re-enter Serial Numbers, etc.

Congratulations, you have discovered the new and improved kernel panic screen! (since Jaguar IIRC)

I also noticed panics at logoff (or reboot) after 10.2.3. They don't bother me as much because by the time it panics most processes have been shut down, so I just power off.

The last few days, for whatever reason....I am getting kernels after the machine has been shut off for the night and restarted in the morning. Can't make anything of it, but it's a bothersome for sure. Just a one time thing though and the rest of the day is fine....

Anybody who's having this problem, feel free to post the contents of /Library/Logs/panic.log here so that we can try and see what's causing it..

You've been using FireWalk X, haven't you? It looks as though you tried to uninstall it and missed something important, which is still running in the background and blowing up whenever anything tries to shut it down, because it can't find one of the files you deleted. Reinstall FireWalk X, and then use their uninstallation tool. That should fix the problem. Which folders did you delete, anyway?

And a quick note: that last message on the Kernel Panic screen is in Japanese, not Chinese.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!
